How to donate via your company's giving portal
You might prefer to send a donation via your employer's corporate giving portal, so this page provides clarification on how to do that so that your gift gets to us at Boost Fund For Students.
Why give through your employer? It might give you an added dose of confidence that your contribution is headed to a valid 501(c)(3) organization that has been vetted through their database of available non-profits. Your company may wish to track giveback by the employees and using their portal may qualify your donation for a company match (Yay!). Personally, I (Donna) use my workplace giving portal as a way to add a layer of anonymity to my donations so the recipient doesn't flood me with mailings and solicitations for additional gifts.

The website you use may look different, but here are screen shots and instructions that apply to the benevity portal used by many large companies as an example.

First, find the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts as a recipient, look for their fern logo (the recent logo is more graphical than the one shown here)
Navigate to the donate now page. On the donation page, enter the amount of your gift and whether a recurring or one-time donation. Use the comments field to direct the donation to Boost Fund For Students, and mention the specific fundraiser you'd like to donate to, if you have a preference. This instructs the team at CFWM to credit your donation to Boost Fund For Students. Donations that don't mention a specific school cohort to support will be included in the next active fundraiser after the donation is received.
Donations via these giving platforms can take a month or so to get to the Community Foundation, so your donation acknowledgement may take awhile to be sent to you. If you want to alert us to be on the lookout for your donation, feel free to use the contact box at the foot of this page.
